Conductive Anodic Failure (CAF) Testing Tools
PWBCorp is developing tools under a Government of Canada Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program. The tools will complement the existing PWBCorp products in the detection of PCB Failures through Interconnect Stress Test (IST) techniques. CAF testing tools today are a patch work of different pieces of equipment. PWBCorp is utilizing it's expertise in PCB IST and DELAM testing to develop a seamless, automated and integrated set of tools to simplify CAF testing and report generation. As part of it's tools hardening strategy, PWBCorp is already providing CAF testing to a select number of customers.
